Cohort 7 Phi Theta Kappa Leadership Development Study Group -This is a leadership study which starts on September 15th, is open to anyone, and the only cost is to purchase the book.  Once you are done, you receive a certificate of completion.  A 30% discount is available to those who join the group and need to purchase the textbook, Phi Theta Kappa Leadership Development Studies: A Humanities Approach. http://www.ptk.org/competitive_edge/ - This is the link to Phi Theta Kappa's Five Star Competitive Edge Program.  This is a leadership program which members of Phi Theta Kappa can go through individually.  It also includes Mahara, an online portfolio which you can build and show to others, for free.

http://www.collegefish.org/ - Collegefish is a wonderful tool to help students at two year colleges decide which four year college they would like to go to!  It has tools that allow you to put in what you want to see in a college and it will match you to colleges that fit your criteria.  Once you select a college you are interested in, it gives you a checklist and timeline for accomplishing the things which you need to do in order to transfer, and it has a fishbowl option which you can use to let the colleges you're looking at know that you are interested in them.
